After graduation, I graduated from Pan American and was hired as a secretary at a bank. My then boss, actually a confirmed bachelor, became my husband in November 1963!! Jim was transferred to Northern Virginia and we lived there until 1977 when we moved to Mechanicsville.
In September 2011, Jim had a stroke which left him paralyzed. He passed away in September 2013 just 6 weeks from our 50th anniversary. I am doing okay but really miss him a lot. I ty to stay busy with friends, family and my church work. If any of you have lost your spouse, you know what I am going through.
